Making It Interview...

with Jess Lamworth

What inspires you to keep making things?

"Inspiration comes from many places, but I am most inspired to keep making things when I’m surrounded by people who are excited by creativity — there’s no better feeling in the world than bringing joy to others through making."

What one piece of advice would you give to other makers?

"Pursue all your creative ideas! No matter how small or how silly you may think they are, making your ideas into reality is pure magic, and the world is a better place with your creativity in it! Never be afraid to make what your imagination dreams up."

What is your biggest takeaway from Making It?

"My biggest takeaway from Making It is that the power of creativity, imagination, and playfulness is greater than competition, and the best way to pursue my own creativity is by staying true to myself. I learned so much about my own capabilities and gained so much confidence in myself and my work on this show — I am a better artist and better friend because of it!"
