Sam is a woodworker, crafter, DIYer — oh, and a psychologist (Ph.D.). She’s been producing very thorough DIY tutorials on her website and brand, DIY Huntress, for a number of years now.

What inspires you to keep making things?
"Making things has always been a huge part of my life. It’s part of my DNA. I can’t go too long without making something, or I feel incomplete. Just like we need food, air, and water to survive. I need to be able to make things to function like a proper human!"
What one piece of advice would you give to other, budding woodworkers?
"Never be afraid to make a mistake when first starting out. Mistakes can only hold you back if you are not willing to learn from them."
