"This is going to sound extremely vague and cliché, but life around me! I love making pieces that reflect how I'm feeling, or experiences I went through. Before COVID I would go thrifting a lot and I would pull inspiration from vintage kitchenware shapes or funky textiles.

On a different note my day to day needs inspire me a lot. For instance I noticed that my shampoo bar was getting soggy and so I decided to make a soap holder! I needed a mini planter for a succulent I got as a gift, so I made a planter that was the exact size that I needed. I especially love artwork that can be both beautiful and functional."

"Don't be afraid to make "bad" art. There is so much pressure these days (especially on social media) to only produce art that is "instagramable" or marketable, and I think that can cause people to become too scared to make anything at all. Not only does this suck the fun out of creating, but it makes it really hard to get better! So make a lot of art and embrace the bad attempts, you might be pleasantly surprised at what you come up with (:"
